Product description
A superb composition created in Africa using preserved butterfly wings.
A beautiful blue Morpho butterfly sits at its center.
The artwork is presented in its original frame, made of wood and gilded stucco with floral motifs. It is protected by convex glass.
Circa 1950.
Good overall condition; there is slight warping of the adhesive and some initial deterioration of the wings on the right and left sides. The frame has three chips.
This piece will appeal to art lovers and collectors of curiosities.
