Fossilized wood from Sooka, custom-made stand (new)
Beautiful piece of petrified wood on a custom-made BS-6 stand
Petrified wood is a mineralized piece of a tree that forms when trees fall and are covered under a layer of soil or sand. This often happens due to a natural disaster. The colors you see in petrified wood depend on the minerals in the soil or sand. Each mineral produces its own color. The process of 'petrification' ensures that all characteristics of the wood, such as knots, bark, and annual rings, are preserved. A possible decomposition process in the distant past can result in beautiful crystal formation, often in multiple colors. Estimated dimensions - with stand
