Product description
Octagonal pedestal coffee table crafted from fossil limestone, featuring a radially segmented top accented by fine brass dividers. The stone surface exhibits natural inclusions of ammonites and orthoceras, characteristic of fossil stone from the Erfoud region.
The table top is constructed from individually cut segments resting on a concealed sub-disc of the same material, creating a layered structure with a subtle shadow line along the edge. The base is a solid, octagonal pedestal, proportioned to give the table a stable and architectural appearance.
Both the top and base are finished with the original transparent resin coating, applied to enhance the depth and contrast of the fossil stone. Minor wear and some localized peeling of the coating along the edges are present, consistent with age and use.
