Product description
This Fontana Arte pendant light from the 1970s is a striking example of Italian design, combining geometric forms with a warm, ambient glow. The piece is defined by its intersecting square glass panels, which create a dynamic, sculptural silhouette that feels both retro and timeless. Constructed with a central chromed metal frame, the fixture holds 4 E14 bulbs that illuminate the surrounding glass. The panels feature a subtle amber or beige tint, contrasting with clear edges, which diffuses the light beautifully. The metal hardware, likely steel or chrome, adds an industrial edge to the otherwise delicate glass composition. The pendant is in good vintage condition, showing character consistent with its age and use. The glass panels remain intact, and the metal frame retains its structural integrity, offering a genuine piece of 1970s design history. This light is perfect for anchoring a dining space or adding a focal point to a hallway or living room. Its blend of Mid-Century Modern and Space Age aesthetics makes it a versatile addition to both contemporary and vintage-inspired interiors.
