I am selling an original Fontana Arte table lamp model 1853/1 Grande, based on the well-known design by Max Ingrand from 1954. This is the rarely offered largest version and an older vintage production with the characteristic perforated metal base, the original internal construction, and the black triple switch. The three lighting areas – lamp base, shade, and top light – can be switched separately and function perfectly. This allows for different lighting moods, from subtle ambient light to full illumination. The condition is exceptionally good for its age. The satin opal glass has no cracks, chips, or dents. Only very minimal age-related signs of wear are present. The white lacquered metal base and the switch are also in a very well-maintained condition.
