Folding campaign chair, faux bamboo, brown canvas, stamped "registered design", 20th century
Folding chair of the "campaign chair" or "director's chair" type, made of turned wood imitating bamboo (faux bamboo), with a seat, backrest, and footrest in strong chocolate brown canvas, stretched and secured by wooden passers. Classic X-shaped structure with visible metal hinges, legs ending in small turned knobs at the back. The folding mechanism is functional, in line with boat/beach chairs or garden furniture from the early to mid-20th century.
The "registered design" stamp indicates a model protection registered by the manufacturer at the time — a sign of a small, commercially identified French production.
