This elegant flower holder, crafted by Chippendale, is a refined example of classic table silver. The design combines an openwork lid with a sturdy base, creating a timeless appearance characteristic of the early twentieth century.
The object is made of silver-plated metal (electro plate on an 18% nickel-silver base) and features a glass insert for arranging flowers. The bowl displays detailed engravings along the edges and rests on a profiled foot.
