The Toio Floor Lamp by FLOS is a floor lamp, designed in 1962 by the well-known Italian designers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. The Toio provides indirect diffused light that spreads a warm glow throughout the room.
The Toio is adjustable in height and also has a built-in dimmer.

We bought the lamp about 15 years ago. The delivery people from the design store where we bought it did not understand the lamp and thought it was the strangest lamp they had ever installed.
We still think it is beautiful, it is a timeless lamp, but we have taken a different path with our interior in a new house.
The lamp is, except for a barely visible issue, in new condition, and is as good as immaculate.
There are superficial traces - scratches is too strong a word - on the base, only the parts that are flat on the ground. Probably caused by the vacuum cleaner. The traces have not gone through the paint layer, and are barely visible.
