Private sellerProduct description
This is a Table lamp by Flos, designed by the brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1967. The piece shown here is the limited 50th-anniversary special edition in matt black, a tribute to an iconic piece of Italian design. The lamp's distinctive silhouette is a playful nod to the shape of the famous comic character Snoopy, making it an instantly recognizable classic. The Snoopy lamp is characterized by its high-quality materials and thoughtful construction. The base is crafted from a single block of solid, white Carrara marble, creating an elegant contrast to the enameled metal reflector. This model, manufactured in Italy, features an integrated touch dimmer in the base, allowing the light intensity to be adjusted with a simple touch. The shade provides direct, downward light, making it ideal as a reading or task lamp. The condition of this lamp is impeccable, corresponding to new condition. It comes complete with its original packaging and accompanying documentation, indicating careful storage and minimal use. The surfaces of the marble and matt black metal are flawless and free from visible signs of wear, emphasizing its collector's item character. As a striking design object, the Snoopy lamp fits perfectly on a sideboard, desk, or bedside table. Its timeless yet playful design seamlessly integrates into modern, minimalist, or eclectic interiors, adding a touch of design history and sophistication to any room.
