About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
The Flos Skygarden pendant lamp, designed by Marcel Wanders, is an iconic piece of contemporary lighting design. This design combines a sleek, minimalist exterior with a richly decorated, classically inspired interior, creating a surprising and theatrical effect. The lamp is crafted with a smooth, white outer dome and a white plaster interior featuring a detailed floral relief. The light is softly diffused by a cylindrical opal glass diffuser, finished with an openwork metal pattern on the underside. The white color scheme emphasizes the sculptural character of the plaster relief. This particular example is in very good condition and retains its original finish and structural integrity. The plaster relief is sharp and undamaged, and the diffuser is intact. The Flos Skygarden comes into its own above a spacious dining table or in a grand hallway. The design fits seamlessly into both modern and eclectic interiors, where it serves as a refined centerpiece connecting classic and contemporary elements.
