Beautiful solid glass paperweight by Floris Meydam, designed for Glasfabriek Leerdam, approx. 1953. This model is known as Serica No. 11 and features characteristic blue and green/turquoise color swirls in clear, heavy glass. A particularly decorative and collectible piece of Dutch Leerdam glass with a beautiful organic shape and wonderful depth in the glass. Dimensions: approx. 14 × 5.2 × 6.3 cm Weight: a remarkable 899 grams Condition: good vintage condition, with normal light signs of wear consistent with age. Not signed. A beautiful addition for the collector of Floris Meydam, Leerdam Serica and Dutch design glass.
