Product description
This is an antique flute by the Brussels instrument maker Florent Hofinger, crafted around the beginning of the 20th century. The instrument is presented in its original, custom-made case, forming a rare and complete ensemble. The flute is made of silver-plated metal and consists of three separate parts that fit precisely into the case. The inside of the case is lined with a deep blue, plush velvet that protects the instrument. A silk ribbon in the lid bears the inscription 'Maison F. Hofinger Fondée en 1900 BRUXELLES', confirming the origin and era of the piece. The instrument shows an authentic patina consistent with its age, which contributes to its historical character. The overall condition is well preserved, and the flute appears to be complete within its original case. The case itself also shows traces of a long history. As a Decorative Objects, this antique flute adds a touch of classic elegance and musical history to an interior. It is a refined piece for a collector or a unique accent in a study, library, or on a console.
