Product description
This is a characteristic ceramic vase, manufactured by Plateelbakkerij Flora from Gouda, Netherlands. The object is a representative example of Dutch design from the Mid-Century period. Its understated elegance is defined by the deep, matte chocolate brown finish and classic silhouette. The vase is made of studio ceramics and has a height of 21 cm. The design, dating from the 1960s or 1970s, is inspired by a traditional pitcher, with an organically shaped body, a refined handle, and subtle ring accents on the neck. The monochrome, matte glaze gives the object a velvety texture and a rich, understated appearance. The object is in very good vintage condition and shows careful preservation over the years. The original 'Flora Keramiek Gouda Holland' sticker is still present on the surface, confirming its authenticity and origin. The finish is consistent and free of significant imperfections.
