Product description
"Papavero" floor lamp, designed in 1964 by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni and produced by Flos. The floor lamp rests on a thick circular base of heavily veined white marble, topped with a long cylindrical metal stem. This supports a large white opaline glass diffuser, blown and open at the top, whose flared shape evokes a flower corolla. When lit, the opaline glass diffuses a soft and even light, while highlighting the lamp's particularly clean lines. With its minimalist construction and the combination of marble, metal, and opaline glass, the "Papavero" is an iconic piece of 1960s Italian design. DIMENSIONS: 181x36cm and base: ø26cm
