A small, distinctive piece, this fleur de sel salt cellar is truly unique. Its flattened ovoid shape, topped with a spherical knob, and its triangular front opening give it an immediately recognizable silhouette, somewhere between a functional object and a miniature sculpture. The deep and variegated oxblood red enamel ranges from bright red to almost black-brown depending on the firing areas. The "Fleur de Sel" inscription is incised into the clay before firing, under the glaze, with the attention to detail characteristic of workshop productions. The unglazed white stoneware base contrasts with the richness of the body. Approximately 8 cm high. Placed on a set table, it catches the eye even before it's touched. It can also find its place in a collection of studio ceramics or on a kitchen shelf. Its condition is perfect, without chips or flaws.
