Blaisse became known for her sculptures of dancing figures after her training at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. There are statues of her in various cities, including Amsterdam, Haarlem, Zwolle and Utrecht. In 1998 she received the Singer prize for her entire oeuvre and she was given a retrospective exhibition in the Singer museum in Laren. The bronze statue of Dancer in Concentration I is exhibited there. The statue is 29 cm high and 14 cm wide and 7 cm deep. It stands on a wooden pedestal. The condition is perfect .
The statue was purchased in 1998 through the Singer Museum. The statue is signed on the bottom
