Description
Expressive figurative work by the Limburg artist Hans Truijen. The composition depicts two stylized heads facing each other, constructed from powerful brushstrokes and contrasting color planes. The spontaneous painting style and free lines align with the expressive style in which Truijen worked after his training at the Jan van Eyck Academy.
The work is signed in the lower right corner and framed with a mat.
