This is a framed drawing by the Dutch artist Paul Klemann, titled 'Fighting turtle babies'. The work is a perfect example of his unique 'Dream Drawings', in which he captures the images from his own dreams.
The artwork, executed on paper, depicts a complex and surreal scene full of unexpected elements. Klemann is known for combining everyday objects with fantastic figures, resulting in a visual diary of his subconscious. The drawing is framed in a wooden frame with a white passe-partout, with dimensions of 72 cm wide and 89 cm high.
The work is in good condition and the vibrant colors, especially the dominant yellow, have been well preserved. The drawing itself is a fascinating piece that explores the boundaries between reality and dream. This surreal artwork is an intriguing addition to an interior and fits well with an eclectic or modern decor.
