Siesta Chair by — Ingmar Relling for Westnofa, Norway, 1965. Black lacquered bentwood sled structure. Tufted cushion in natural beige leather — soft, generous, made to get lost in. Its name says it all — Siesta. Ingmar Relling designed it in 1965 with a single ambition: that you wouldn't want to leave it. The bentwood sled structure naturally flexes under the body. No mechanism, no adjustment. Just physics, and Norwegian common sense. Assumed patina of time. In very good condition. PS: I have a second identical armchair. Feel free to ask for more photos.
