Product description
Designed in 1966 by Henryk Lis at the Lower Silesian Furniture Factory in Poland, the FOX armchair takes its name from its designer — "Lis" translates to "fox" in Polish. It became the second most popular Polish armchair design of the 1960s, right behind the now-famous 366, and was a familiar sight in cafés and clubs across the country. Its slim turned-wood legs and tapered armrests give it a quiet, confident elegance that still holds up decades later.
This chair takes on a soft, bright pink, stain-resistant fabric with matching piping around the seat — a cheerful, versatile shade for a bedroom, nursery, or reading corner. Compact and sturdy construction throughout. Fully restored: the wood structure sanded and revarnished to a brown teak, satin wax-finished look.
