Product description
Here is a two-seater sofa from the Belgian manufacturer Durlet, a company renowned for its high-quality seating furniture since 1966. This is the Cornelius model, a piece that perfectly illustrates late 20th-century design with its combination of generous comfort and a strong aesthetic.
The sofa is entirely upholstered in soft leather in a deep shade, between dark brown and anthracite. This upholstery rests on a sculptural base of black lacquered metal, whose geometric design creates a striking contrast with the inviting shapes of the cushions. This distinctive base gives the whole a sense of lightness, as if the main volume floats above the ground.
The general condition of this sofa is good, testifying to Durlet's manufacturing quality. The original leather has developed an authentic patina that enriches its character without compromising its integrity. The cushions retain their shape and comfort, and the structure is solid and stable.
With its bold silhouette and enveloping comfort, this Cornelius sofa will naturally find its place in a contemporary or eclectic interior. It can serve as a centerpiece in a living room or complement a set of design furniture, bringing a touch of sophistication and character.
