Lovely antique farmhouse table, beautifully crafted, pegged construction in solid pine, thick top.
Two large solid oak drawers are tucked under the top, easily accommodating a cutlery set, napkins, etc.
Despite its generous dimensions, it retains both elegance and lightness.
Another unique feature and advantage for a table of this era, often too low these days, is its 81 cm top height (a tradesman's table? draper's table or something similar?), which leaves ample legroom under the apron. (It's always possible to trim 3-4 cm if needed.)
It's very stable, with no play whatsoever.
The frame has been completely sanded and left unfinished, while the top has received two coats of high-resistance, matte alkyd varnish for practical everyday use while highlighting the wood's beauty.
