A beautiful antique farmhouse table, finely crafted, with a pegged solid pine construction and a thick top.
Two large solid oak drawers are tucked away beneath the tabletop, easily accommodating a cutlery set, napkins, etc.
Despite its generous dimensions, it retains both elegance and lightness.
Another unique feature and advantage for a table of this era, often too low today, is its 81 cm high tabletop (perhaps a tradesman's table? A draper's table, perhaps?), which allows ample legroom under the apron. (It can always be trimmed 3-4 cm if needed.)
It is very stable, with no play whatsoever.
The frame has been completely sanded and left unfinished, while the tabletop has received two coats of high-resistance, matte alkyd varnish for practical everyday use, enhancing the beauty of the wood.
