Product description
Exceptional Fantasy Island Sofa by Kurt Beier from the 1980s. The sculptural design combines a generous, organically curved seating landscape with a delicate back structure and possesses the characteristic experimental look of this era. The softly upholstered seat is covered with dark leather and supported by curved metal feet. Particularly striking is the surrounding backrest made of slender metal tubing with natural-colored wicker sections. Small wooden accents add additional touches. The combination of dark leather, metal, and natural wicker gives the sofa an exceptional, almost sculptural appearance. A rare and characterful piece of German design from the 1980s. Condition: Authentic vintage condition with clear signs of age and use. The leather shows a distinct patina with wrinkles, scratches, abrasion, and fine cracking in places.
