About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
A set of four Dining chairs, model Fanett, produced by the Dutch manufacturer Pastoe. This iconic design by Ilmari Tapiovaara is a prime example of mid-20th century Scandinavian design, known for its light and functional aesthetic.
The chairs are crafted with a warm-toned wooden seat, which creates a beautiful contrast with the black lacquered wooden frame. Characteristic of the Fanett model is the high backrest with fine spindles, which is not only visually appealing but also offers comfortable support. The combination of materials and colors gives the chairs a timeless and versatile appearance.
This vintage set is in good condition, consistent with its age and use. Over the years, the wood has developed a characteristic patina that contributes to the authentic charm of the chairs. The construction is solid, and the overall presentation is very well maintained.
With their slender silhouette and airy design, these chairs fit perfectly into various interior styles, from Mid-Century Modern and Scandinavian to more eclectic and contemporary settings. They are ideal as Dining chairs, but can also be used individually as accent pieces in a living room or bedroom.
