Private sellerProduct description
This is a classic extending dining table, crafted from wood with a deep, rich finish. Its design is rooted in traditional European furniture, characterized by a substantial pedestal base that offers both stability and elegance. Dimensions extendable up to 241 cm length with 2 wooden panel of 47 cm each. The table is constructed from a dark-toned wood, featuring a rectangular top with rounded corners and a delicate inlaid border. It rests on a distinctive split pedestal base, which separates to accommodate an additional leaf for extension. The base terminates in four splayed legs, each capped with ornate brass paw feet on casters, a detail that adds a touch of classical refinement. This piece presents in a condition consistent with its age and history, retaining the integrity of its original structure and finish. The wood's surface has developed a character over time that speaks to its use in a family home. The extension mechanism allows for versatile use, easily transforming from a smaller family table to a larger surface for entertaining guests. With its timeless silhouette, this dining table is well-suited for a formal dining room or an open-plan living space. It pairs seamlessly with both traditional and more eclectic interior styles, serving as a handsome and functional centerpiece for gatherings.
