Extendable rosewood table, designed by J. Andersen, Denmark, 1960s. This magnificent rosewood table was designed by Johannes Andersen, known as the "king" of tables, for the Danish manufacturer Uldum in the 1960s. Meticulous detailing, a thick, rounded edge, a superb leg-to-frame connection, and two extensions with the same finish as the main tabletop, which, when extended, close together into a beautiful unit, extending to 240 cm in length. Finished in dark rosewood veneer with beautiful grain on the tabletop.
