Product description
High-quality, extendable dining table made of solid oak with a clear, functional design language typical of Swiss furniture design from the 1970s. The table rests on two sculpturally shaped central legs with a wide base, ensuring ample legroom and high stability. The tabletop can be extended from both sides and is guided by a robust metal extension mechanism with an integrated central support. Two precisely fitting extension leaves are integrated, allowing for flexible lengthening.
The underside bears the "creation suisse" plaque of the Swiss Furniture Manufacturers Association (SEM), clearly confirming its origin and the quality of its craftsmanship. Stylistically, the model can be attributed to late Mid-Century Modern or the functionalist Swiss design of the 1970s, with a focus on functionality, material honesty, and durability.
Condition: Good, well-maintained original condition with age-related wear. Light patina, minor dents, and fine scratches on the surface, especially along the edges, but no structural damage. The drawer and mechanism are fully functional.
