A striking vintage desk from the 1980s, defined by the richness of its burl wood veneer and its strong architectural presence. The generous tabletop and apron reveal a beautifully figured burl grain, with swirling patterns and deep amber tones that give the surface a natural depth and visual movement.
The warmth and complexity of the burl wood contrast elegantly with the black lacquered legs, formed as broad sculptural supports with softly rounded outer edges. This interplay between expressive veneer and restrained geometry reflects the design language often seen in high-end interiors of the 1980s.
It has a small drawer in the same style, soon to be published, right now is in restoring process.
