Very rare desk designed by Alex Linder, produced in Denmark in the 1970s. The design is an exceptional example of well-thought-out functionality in which technology and form come together perfectly. The wide tabletop is covered in black leather and framed in aluminium, resting on a solid metal base. In the center of the desk is an integrated aluminium module subtly incorporating various functions: a swivel desk lamp, a clock, a mechanical egg timer, an ashtray, and compartments for pens and small objects. Everything is recessed into the tabletop, forming a sleek whole with the design. This combination of workspace and instruments gives the desk an almost cockpit-like appearance — a carefully composed workstation in which every element has a clear place. The result is a distinctive and rarely seen design that is convincing both technically and visually. A distinctly Danish design from the 1970s in which precision, materials, and functionality come together in a unique way. In good vintage condition with light signs of use.
