An extremely rare and monumental diamond-shaped brutalist wall sculpture with integrated lighting, handmade by the renowned Belgian Atelier Pia Manu (Ingelmunster) around 1970. This sculptural masterpiece features an impressive dynamic design with a large diagonal of 120 cm. The base consists of a rough, dark textured relief, centrally incorporating a three-dimensional composition of thick, chipped and melted glass mosaic (dalles de verre) in deep turquoise, emerald green and ocean blue hues. The composition is completed by a refined brutalist relief cross at the top and a geometric oval at the bottom. When switched on, the lamp transforms into a breathtaking light object where the glass lights up intensely. This work comes from a high-quality private collection and is in excellent, original vintage condition.
