Private sellerProduct description
A classic three-piece carving set by George Butler & Co, manufactured in Sheffield, England. This set is a testament to traditional English craftsmanship, designed for expertly carving meat.
The set consists of a carving knife, a carving fork, and a sharpening steel, each with a handle made of authentic deer antler, as indicated by the original label. The blades and metal parts are made of stainless steel, marked with 'Non-Stain' and the manufacturer's name. The set is presented in its original box with a red velvet inlay and a cream-colored satin lining, on which the brand name 'Butler's' is printed in gold.
In very good condition, this set shows careful preservation. The deer antler handles have a rich texture and patina that emphasize the character of the material. The original presentation box is complete and contributes to the collector's value and the authentic appearance of the whole.
This carving set is not only a functional piece of kitchenware for special occasions but also a decorative object that adds a touch of classic, rustic elegance to any dining room or kitchen. It is an excellent addition to a traditional dinnerware set.
