Product description
This J.T. Kalmar wall lamp from the 'Granada' series is a characteristic example of Mid-Century Modern lighting design. The design combines a sleek metal fixture with heavy, textured ice glass, resulting in a sculptural object that attracts attention whether switched on or off. The lamp features a metal fixture and a shade of thick, cast ice glass. The glass has an irregular, organic texture that refracts and diffuses the light in an atmospheric way. The dimensions are 13 cm in width, 13 cm in depth, and 24 cm in height. The fixture bears an original Franken KG label, confirming the authenticity of this Kalmar design. The object is in good condition, commensurate with its age and use. The glass is intact, and the metal parts display a light patina that contributes to the vintage character of the piece. The wiring is present, and the lamp is functional. This wall lamp is perfectly suited to a Mid-Century Modern or eclectic interior. The ice glass provides warm, diffuse lighting that is perfect for creating atmosphere in a hallway, living room, or bedroom.
