Offered for sale, a unique, heavy design coffee table with a beautifully aged appearance. The table has an impressive solid wooden top with a sturdy, thick edge and rests on a robust, geometric base. An absolute eye-catcher that fits perfectly into a brutalist, modern-organic, or high-end wabi-sabi interior.
The table has recently been completely refurbished by me. It has been thoroughly and professionally sanded and then treated with high-quality furniture wax. This brings out the warm, deep color of the wood beautifully again and immediately optimally protects the top against stains and rings.
This is an extremely heavy and solid quality piece of furniture; a coffee table with this rare top thickness and generous diameter is not found in regular stores. As can be seen in the detailed photos, the solid wood contains characteristic shrinkage cracks and lived-in lines. This forms the core of its authentic, rustic charm and does not detract from its sturdiness; the construction on the underside is incredibly solid (see bottom photo). After renovation, the table is in a beautiful, ready-to-place condition.
