Product description
The tabletop is composed of numerous irregularly cut stone segments, whose white base color is traversed by striking gray to anthracite veins. The geometric mosaic creates a lively, almost graphic surface and makes every detail of the top interesting. The surrounding edge is also covered with narrow marble segments and carefully integrated into the overall design.
Despite its massive stone appearance, the oval shape looks light and elegant. The top is supported by a central metal column with a flat, star-shaped base. The clear construction and the low, horizontally emphasized silhouette are characteristic of high-quality European interior design of the 1970s.
Condition
Good authentic vintage condition with age- and use-related traces. The stone surface shows a very well-maintained appearance in the present photos. Small irregularities, signs of wear, and age-related changes to joints, edges, and metal frame are to be expected with a piece of furniture of this age and are part of its original character.
