Product description
Ewa Juszkiewicz – "Untitled (After Jan Adam Kruseman)", 2020. This striking poster was produced in 2022 in conjunction with Haunted Realism, a group exhibition at Gagosian, Grosvenor Hill, London. The exhibition explored the concept of "lost futures" and the ghostly remnants of modernity’s aspirations, highlighting how artists respond to the overwhelming flow of contemporary media imagery and the increasingly fragmented spaces we inhabit. Juszkiewicz’s surreal composition reinterprets a portrait by Jan Adam Kruseman, replacing the subject’s head with a richly textured swirl of colored fabrics, a signature element of her thought-provoking style. The print is in good condition, never framed, and will be securely delivered. A must-have for collectors of contemporary art and surreal portraiture.
