For the lover of Mid-Century Modern and exclusive Italian design: a beautiful, original and completely flawless ceramic jug from the renowned studio Fratelli Fanciullacci, made in Italy in the 1950s or 60s. This object is executed in a unique modernist design. It features a rustic, beige earthenware base with a vibrant, deeply incised (sgraffito) image of stylized Etruscan horses/donkeys in orange-red and yellow. The neck is beautifully decorated with turquoise and blue raised dots, and the inside of the spout is finished with a contrasting greenish-grey glaze. Fratelli Fanciullacci (Italy) Model number: 8668 (original factory mark, handwritten on the bottom) Marking: Marked with the authentic, handwritten export designation 'ITALY' Height: 18 cm Flawless. Absolutely no chips, hairline cracks, restorations or glaze loss. This piece is in a rare beautiful vintage condition.
