This shelving unit set is a creation by String Furniture, combining white lacquered metal uprights and wooden shelves. It is the String System shelving system, a classic of Scandinavian design renowned for its modularity and clean aesthetic.
The system consists of two freestanding sections with white steel wire uprights and oak veneer shelves. The modular design, created by Swedish architect Nils Strinning in 1949, allows shelves to be positioned at different heights to adapt to various storage needs. The neutral color palette, combining white and light wood, is characteristic of Nordic design.
