Superb vintage low chair, also known as a "fireside chair," made of solid oak and straw, dating from the 1950s, in the style of Charles Dudouyt.
This Brutalist country-style chair is wonderfully warm and very comfortable, and slightly lower than standard, perfect for relaxing in front of a fireplace or a pretty wood-burning stove. It would also look lovely in a child's bedroom or entryway—a real decorative asset! In very good condition, excellent quality, with geometric caning in beautiful condition and a superb patina.
