About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This fantastic painting by Erik Zwezerijnen is available due to a divorce.
It is 100x100cm.
This is a typical example of Zwezerijnen's expressive style: the cat as a characteristic icon. Zwezerijnen rarely paints animals realistically, but focuses on their personality with a good dose of humor and raw energy.
The gaze and design: The cat is built up from heavy, black and fast acrylic and ink lines. The large, asymmetrical eyes and the thickly applied whiskers give the cat an almost comical, alert and stubborn look.
