Many of his creations were lost in a recent fire. These earlier works are rare, especially the 14-color silkscreen "ODE" no. 41 of 60, 1987! Signed, of course.
Toebosch's work mainly consists of scenes from his own fairy tales, myths, and legends. Frequently recurring elements include hourglasses, angels, and texts. To compensate for these heavy subjects (death is also a theme), Toebosch often adds a touch of humor to his work.
Beautiful large silkscreen print behind glass in a neat frame, and preserved well over the years. See other listings for more works by this artist.
