Product description
Coordinated decorative set in Limoges porcelain, consisting of a soliflore vase, a cup, and its saucer.
The three pieces feature a hand-painted geometric decor, combining plum, green, ochre, and pink flat colors with lustrous and iridescent effects. Fine golden lines structure the composition, while the cup's handle and edges also receive a golden finish. The slender silhouette of the vase and the richness of the reflections give the set a decidedly modernist presence.
The soliflore bears the inscriptions 'LIMOGES FRANCE' and 'Peint main'. The cup also features the inscription 'Peint main' as well as a circular stamp 'LIMOGES FRANCE' whose central monogram does not allow for certain identification of the manufacturer. The set appears to date from the second half of the 20th century, probably from the 1970s to 1990s.

Good general vintage condition. Some fine scratches, scuffs, and signs of use are visible on the lustrous surfaces, with occasional wear and irregularities in the gilding, particularly on the edges.
