Product description
Set of three fine earthenware serving pieces, manufactured by the Moulins des Loups faience factory (Orchies, Nord), "Nappe" model, circa 1950-1960. The olive green grid pattern is stenciled, the reverse of the pieces and the body of the tureen are in plain white enamel. The set includes a round tureen with two handles, with its lid and button-shaped knob; a deep round dish; a cake dish with two side handles. They are stamped "Orchies – Nord – Moulin des Loups – France" under the round dish and under the cake dish, the latter also bearing the indication "Nappe". The tureen is not stamped; it matches the other two pieces by its decoration and color. In very good general condition. A small chip on one of the tureen's two handles (see photo). Some small orange spots on the lower rim of the tureen lid (see photo). Slight traces of use overall. The round dish shows a network of fine enamel crazing, characteristic of old earthenware. The pieces are sold together. Dimensions: Tureen with lid: 33 x 14 x 28 cm / Round dish: 25.5 x 7.5 x 25.5 cm / Cake dish: 30.5 x 1.5 x 27 cm. Careful packaging. I will answer all your questions regarding the items and their delivery.
