Product description
This set of five ceramic spice jars is a characteristic example of 1950s French kitchen design. Each piece features a distinctive octagonal shape and a finish that captures the aesthetic of the era. Made of ceramic, the set consists of five jars of decreasing sizes, each with its original lid. The color palette combines bright orange panels with a white mother-of-pearl and iridescent finish. Each jar is adorned with a floral poppy motif and a French label indicating its contents: "Café", "Pâtes", "Farine", "Thé" and "Poivre". The set is in good overall condition, showing a patina that testifies to its history and past use. The colors remain vibrant and the decorations are well preserved, adding to its authentic character. All five jars and their respective lids are present. These spice jars will bring a touch of vintage charm to any kitchen. They are perfect as functional storage items on a countertop or as decorative elements on a shelf, fitting equally well into a rustic or retro style interior. Very beautiful set comprising 5 spice jars with typical 1950s decoration: red bands and a bouquet of poppies in a blue vase on a slightly pearlescent background. The largest jar measures 20 cm high. Apart from 3 tiny hairline cracks, all jars and lids are in very good condition, which is rare! Careful packaging and fast shipping.
