Product description
A handsome and highly functional (rotatable) drum table inspired by the elegance of the English Regency period. Crafted in richly figured mahogany, this circular library table features a green tooled and gilt leather writing surface framed by a warm satinwood-toned banding. The cylindrical drum-form case is fitted with open shelving and a paneled cabinet door, providing convenient storage while maintaining a refined architectural presence.
The table is raised on a turned pedestal terminating in four elegantly reeded saber legs with brass casters, allowing it to be easily repositioned. Its balanced proportions and versatile scale make it ideal as a center table, library table, occasional desk, or sophisticated accent piece in a traditional or eclectic interior.
The aged leather top displays an attractive patina consistent with use and age, lending the piece character and authenticity. A timeless design that combines practicality with classic British styling.
Height: 66
Diameter: 50
Condition: Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. The leather writing surface shows scuffs and wear consistent with decades of use, enhancing its antique character. Some wear to the wood finish and edges as expected.
