About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This unique piece was made about 35 years ago by an English master confectioner live at the craft fair in Dortmund in 1991. Since then, it has been kept protected under a glass dome.
Fascinating Patina: Over the decades, the material has taken on a beautiful, even ivory tone, which gives the bouquet the noble appearance of antique biscuit porcelain.
Perfect Condition: Despite the extreme fragility of the material, the arrangement is excellently preserved thanks to decades of protected storage under glass. The highlights of this artwork:
• Highest professional precision: Every single petal, every bud, and every detail was hand-formed from wafer-thin sugar paste. The perfection of the execution reflects the absolute top level of the European confectioner elite of that time.
There is no standard market price for such an object, as it is a unique handcrafted piece. Its value is defined by its craftsmanship, rarity, and the hours of work invested (often dozens of hours of precision work).
• Realistic collector's price:
450,– €
