Product description
This classic English Chesterfield office chair combines traditional British craftsmanship with functional ergonomic design. The piece is characterized by its iconic tufted backrest and seat, making it a highly recognizable and timeless addition to a formal workspace. The rich history of the Chesterfield design is reflected in the stately proportions and elegant finish of this executive chair. The chair is crafted with a robust wooden frame with curved armrests and is fully upholstered in high-quality reddish-brown leather. The deep tufting is artisanally accentuated by classic decorative studs along the edges of the backrest and seat. The solid wood base features a star-shaped foot with smooth casters, ensuring optimal mobility in the workplace. The chair is also swivelable and equipped with a mechanism to adjust the seating position, significantly enhancing comfort during long working days. The item is in good, functional condition and displays an authentic and weathered character. Over the years, the leather has developed a rich and natural patina, which contributes substantially to the historical and distinguished appearance of the piece. The wooden construction is structurally completely intact and the mechanical parts function properly. This piece of furniture comes into its own perfectly in a classically furnished office, a library, or a refined residential study. The warm reddish-brown hue of the leather forms a harmonious whole with dark wooden desks, antique cabinets, and traditional interior elements.
