This sideboard is a refined example of 1960s French design, characterized by richly veined wood veneer and a glossy finish. Its distinctive silhouette, with fluted textured doors and tapered legs, embodies mid-century elegance.
Made in France, as evidenced by the NF (Norme Française) quality label inside, this piece is built with meticulous attention to detail. The warm-toned wood exterior contrasts with a light veneer interior, probably maple or birch. The legs end in brass sabots, and a decorative stretcher with brass accents connects the base. The interior reveals a colorful surprise with a bar compartment and lacquered drawers in a pastel blue hue.
