Product description
Antique desk inkwell with communicating compartments, consisting of a massive block of cut glass with a beveled edge and a brass cap. The spherical reservoir, equipped with two lateral lugs, is connected by a thin conduit to a circular cup located at the front of the block: the ink level is maintained in the cup as writing progresses.
The domed cap with a rim attaches to the reservoir by two tabs that engage under the glass lugs. It protects the ink from evaporation and dust.
As is. : small chips in the glass are noted here and there (visible in the photos) and fine usage scratches on the glass surfaces. The cap is a little dented and slightly deformed at the base, with an oxidation patina.
Dimensions: With cap: 9.5 x 9.5 x 10 cm / Without cap: 9.5 x 6 x 10 cm.
Careful packaging. I answer all your questions regarding the items and their delivery.
