Enameled sheet metal wall fountain, speckled blue granite glaze on a light blue background, solid blue enameled interior. The slightly flared cylindrical body is fitted with a riveted enameled wire handle, a tubular side spout, and a triangular hanging tab pierced at the top. The capacity is indicated inside, 2 liters and 1 liter, enameled in blue. This type of enameled wall fountain, hung near the sink or work surface, was commonly used in French kitchens and workshops during the first half of the 20th century. The speckled blue granite glaze is one of the most sought after by collectors of antique enamelware. The condition is consistent with its age. The enamel shows chips and wear consistent with domestic use, particularly on the handle and the top rim. Height approximately 20 cm, diameter approximately 15 cm.
