Product description
This Empoli decanter with a kingfisher stopper is a striking example of Italian glassware from the 1950s and 60s. The design stands out due to its elegant, elongated stopper and the deep, clear color typical of the Empoli region.
The decanter is made of hand-blown glass in a rich turquoise hue. The ribbed pattern in the belly of the bottle creates a subtle play of light, while the slender, pointed stopper gives the silhouette a refined height. The stopper is fitted with a plastic ring for a good seal.
The glassware is in neat condition and has retained its original shine and depth of color. The craftsmanship is visible in the small imperfections inherent in hand-blown glass from this period.
